We talked about sales development with Juan Antonio Tejada, CEO and Founder of Kaikoo. Kaikoo is your e-sports coach ensuring your team’s performance increases.
How would you describe your company in an elevator pitch?
Kaikoo is an all-in-one platform that detects players’ in-game errors and assigns them personalized training routines.
Kaikoo has developed a task management engine we call “tasker,” where you can set goals for players to improve. This, coupled with our artificial intelligence, results in a 24/7 active virtual coach for the players.
In addition, we have “Kaikoo Paths,” which are pre-established training routines created by industry professionals in an asynchronous format.
What are you the best at?
We are the only ones in the market that not only give users statistics, but through artificial intelligence, we assign them personalized training routines to make them improve.
Our in-game task management engine makes us unique, and right now, no one in the market can compete with that.
How did you find your first customers?
We knew we couldn’t try to sell our ecosystem a product they didn’t know about, so we jumped at the chance to integrate into the community. To do this, we managed our own competitions and other activities where we could engage them and show them organically what we could offer them.
The reception was amazing! Today we feel like an active part of the community.
What are your customers saying about your product?
We have been working closely with our users from day one, receiving constant feedback from them. We create a product by listening to them, which makes our users feel comfortable with what we are offering them.
What are your proud achievements so far?
Being just one year old and achieving awards as finalists in Alhambra Venture 2021, South Summit 2021, and Entrepreneurship World Cup 2021. Not just that, we are also doing something relevant in the esports industry, achieving more than 20K users currently using our platform.
That is happening because of my 9-people team. Yes, I’m the CEO, but they are the main pillars of the startup.
What is the next big thing in your industry?
Esports is currently a niche, but they are going to be mainstream in the immediate future. Each year, more and more people start following esports competitions, and more and more players want to become the new Messi of esports.
What are your plans for the next 6-12 months?
We want to spread Kaikoo to the world to make it be the 360 degrees hub for esports players, where they can train, improve and enjoy their gaming better!
