We talked about sales development with Emil Esselin, the CEO of Brick Technology. This is a mobile charging solution that gives you the option to rent a power bank and charge your devices while on the go.
1. How would you describe your company in an elevator pitch?
Access beats ownership! Brick Technology believes the sharing economy can reach its full potential with a perfect mix between a global brand and resources, and a strong local connection.
2. What are you the best at?
We have a solution that is easy and convenient for everyone, from our users to our local partners. We do this by getting things done and develop our products in collaboration with our local partners.
3. What customer acquisition strategy did you use to find your first customers?
Work and strong communication to get the name and the solution out there in the public view.
4. What are your customers saying about your product?
“The branding around your product is great, we saw an established company with smart guys that knew what they were doing.”
“What really got me hooked was the possibility to get up and running without a lot of prior knowledge of power bank sharing.”
“The strategy of being a global brand that provides the same service (with the same app) worldwide.”

5. What are your proud achievements so far?
All of us still have functioning relationships on the home front
6. What is the next big thing in your industry?
The next big thing is to share more things.
When you think about it, what, really, is better to own instead of having it available exactly when you need it?
Who knows what we won’t have to own in the future?
7. What are your plans for next 6-12 months?
Brick is continuing to expand globally and improve our services to help our partners grow all over the world.
