We talked about sales development with Dominik Olszewski, Co-founder and CEO of Teamsharq.

How would you describe your company in an elevator pitch
Teamsharq is an all-in-one solution whenever you want to build your online, software-based courses platform, technical recruitment centre, or internal platform for remote work. It completely supports the entire teaching, recruitment or work process from a management system to the powerful computer hardware available directly in a web browser.

What are you the best at?
We have an amazing team of very experienced developers and direct salespeople. However, where we are truly great at is a deep understanding of the process we want to handle. The technology itself is also very important here, both the proprietary architecture and the deeply modified communication protocol we use. Our main goal is to implement a solution that allows users to have a completely smooth experience when using cloud resources. We believe that ultimately our own protocol will be a few times better than anything currently available on the market.

How did you find your first customers?
To be honest, we were our first customers. We’ve been in the IT training and outsourcing services market since 2017, and just before the COVID-19 pandemic, we realized that we needed to move to remote or hybrid solutions in order to scale. Existing tools like Zoom or MS Teams are great, but for lectures, not for software-based or practical classes (like coding bootcamps). We checked over 500 solutions, and there was nothing that fit our needs.

What are your customers saying about your product?
We have just started sales and are arranging for our first demos. The best part is the “WOW effect” that the whole thing works so smoothly and that no one has done something like this before; after all, it is obvious and very natural. As a result, we are now in the process with several global corporations.

What are your proud achievements so far?
That we are where we are. A few months before we started development works, we applied to one of the startup accelerators in Poland. They told us it was impossible to build something like this with just two developers on board in 1-2 years. We would need at least 10 people and 5 years. They were wrong. It’s not that we haven’t had our ups and downs, but the very first great feedback from potential customers and high interest from investors proves that we are on the right track to something big.

What is the next big thing in your industry?
Hybrid. Not remote or stationary. Everything will be hybrid—education, work, recruiting, etc. And our solution is great for that. Wherever you are, whatever computer you use, you always have the same desktop and can easily collaborate with your team. Moreover, with Teamsharq, it will also be easy to work within teams where some people work together and some work remote.

What are your plans for the next 6-12 months?
Sales, sales, sales and customer development. We also started building a network of mentors around us and our product.
